But this guidebook is still solid!
It comes with a couple maps
I cannot recommend this book highly enough. The descriptions of different regions of this vast state make this a good, general, stand-alone, outdoors-y guide to New Mexico for anyone interested in climbing/hiking/camping/etc.Crag access routes are clear and detailed. The climbing history of different crags is a fun bonus. Thorough beta on climbs, from easy sport climbs to multi-pitch trad. Also appreciate the fact that he clearly mentions classic climbs that are not bolted "due to local consensus" and such.The book itself is of excellent quality. Stout, durable, laminated cover with a lifetime warranty on the binding. It holds up well to the normal abuse that any climbing guide endures.
